Katie Lynn
Katie Lynn was born in Lakewood, California, and raised in Boone, Iowa. She participated in vocal music throughout all her years of school.
Katie Lynn joined her first band "Prairie Rose" in Summer 1992. She started her own band "Gold Dust" in the fall of 1992, performing all across the state of Iowa.
Sang at clubs, festivals, and numerous sporting (Iowa Clubs Baseball games – Des Moines, IA) and racing events (IMCA Supernationals – Boone,IA)
Opening act for John Michael Montgomery – Des Moines, IA
Moved to Branson, Missouri, to pursue a music career in September 1995. Immediately began working for Shepherd of the Hills, singing during the day and performing in the Outdoor drama at night. Katie Lynn performed several characters, from singer at the barn dance, to square dancer, to main lead feature female character (Sammy Lane) during six seasons (1995-2001). In 1996, Katie Lynn began playing the "Ditzy Blonde" character for the Jim Owen show. She was hired by the Mickey Gilley show in January 2000. Katie Lynn is still singing for the Mickey Gilley Show. Katie Lynn first appeared on the Gene Williams Country Television Show in April 2002. The show airs weekly coast-to-coast and border-to-border to 20.5 million viewers.
